The Calmon 41″ is the longest board from YOW. The shape design was developed with Chloé’s expertise in longboarding. The large surface area and super long wheelbase (27″) make it the perfect board for those who love longboard surfing in its most classic form. With this 41″ board, you can practice cross-stepping and noseriding. Instead of a grip tape, this board has a cork top, perfect for barefoot skating after a long surf session.

Riding style
The movement on the YOW board is so similar to that on a surfboard that it acts as a surf trainer, as you directly learn the posture and weight shift required for surfing. The Calmon is made for smooth Longboard moves. 

The YOW System
The YOW Meraki S5 surf skate system is the latest generation and is significantly lighter than its forerunner. The vast rotation of the front truck allows for tight turns, but due to the 5 mm spring, it is a little less responsive than the S4 system. It was designed for riders above 50 kg body weight and for all those who are looking for a more stable ride.

Setup
The components are perfectly adjusted to the board. The soft wheels provide the best grip and speed, even on rough surfaces. The deck comes in a proven maple wood construction.
